LJ This is truly fearsome otherworldly dark ambience. With its snarling metallic washes and driving industrial force dropping into whimsy and sorrow. 'The Burning Room' with its sense of drowning and dread is menacing indeed. Following up with the slow mechanical creeping of 'Love Like Blood' is an instant favourite. And rounding out a stellar album 'Where All Me Die' composed almost entirely off improvised bass and piano is something quite brilliant! Favorite track: The Burning Room.

wildfirelink Few do the dark realms of unsettling ambiance as well as Rosenshoul, and SSV1 adds greatly to their already impressive repotoire of bleak textured soundscapes. One can't help but bask in utter isolation and nether worldly haze as the industrial shatters pierce through thick black clouds of ash and subterfuge, sealed in the blood of the cover's beating heart. Bottom line: if you dig Rosenshoul's other output, don't hesitate to grab this one. Favorite track: Love Like Blood.

A Walker An intense dark powerhouse of an album! A unique driving ebb and flow pushing and pulling you from one dark ambient melody to industrial clatter. All encompassing one moment and void the next. Each track a construction of many parts working seamlessly as a whole. If you're a fan of The Rosenshoul you won't be disappointed. Favorite track: The Burning Room.
